Meet your providers

Alok Jain
MD Psychiatrist; Co-Owner, Medical Director

I am committed to my patients and their safety. Over the last 20 years, I have dedicated my professional career to providing quality evidence-based practice to patients across the lifespan in acute/chronic mental health, addiction, and psychotherapy. I am Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, and have successfully practiced in all psychiatric settings while maintaining longstanding respect in the medical community. I have now established my own practice to provide quality care to all patients who need and deserve individualized treatment.

A. Breánna Jain
APRN-BC, PMHNP; Co-Owner, CEO

My lifelong goal is to help others and provide quality care to those most in need. I believe in holistic care; I treat not just the mind, but the body, spirit, psychosocial and professional domains. I have had a vast array of experience in the healthcare profession that has left me uniquely qualified to look at patients from all elements. I believe in constantly improving my own scope of practice, and the related domains to enhance my knowledge base and improve patient outcomes.

Amber Peters

FNP-BC, PMHNP

I became interested in psychiatry after realizing the lack of access this special population had to adequate care. I want to help bridge that gap and break the stigma associated with mental health. I am double board-certified in both family practice and psychiatric/mental health, which gives me a unique advantage in both the physical and psychological aspects of care.  As both a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric nurse practitioner, I believe in the mind/body/spiritual connection since people are not just a series of parts. I want to help my patients not just by managing their medications but treating them as a whole. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship with my clients and provide safe and competent care while helping them reach their treatment goals.

My background as a nurse provides an exceptional foundation of values that guide my practice today. Nursing is a caring profession that involves empathy, advocacy and building a connection with patients. These are values I am passionate about and aim to bring to each patient encounter. One of my favorite aspects of my job is teaching my patients about the promotion of health and prevention of illness. This approach is so rewarding that I make sure to bring it to the nurse practitioner students I teach at a local college.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and doing almost anything outside.

Amy Baremore

PMHNP-BC

My passion has always been to help as many people as I can. With a Bachelor’s in Biology and in Chemistry as well as a Master’s in Business, I started in the medical field working for biopharmaceutical firms in Kansas, California, and Spain. After moving home to Springfield, I earned my Bachelor’s in Nursing and started working toward becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse, I’ve been able to help new mothers and babies in labor and delivery, help critically injured people in the neuro-trauma ICU, and care for those on hospice. In working with patients who need help with mental health concerns, I found my calling as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I rely on my experience and values as well as my commitment to personalized and individualized care to provide holistic solutions for both mind and body to everyone I see.
